With the opening of their new practice center for ophthalmology and vascular medicine at Münchner Freiheit, Prof. Dr. Ricarda Schumann and Dr. Romy Schumann once again commissioned comprisma to build their digital presence — and with it a central objective: to make the visibility of the new center in Schwabing measurably successful online from day one.
The goal was an online platform that not only convinces visually, but also meets the highest standards structurally, editorially and technically. A website that puts patients at the center — and at the same time is reliably found on Google and in AI-powered search.
TWO SPECIALTIES, ONE WELL-STRUCTURED CONCEPT
The practice center combines two specialized medical fields: ophthalmology and vascular medicine (angiology). It was clear from the start that a simple, traditional website would not meet the requirements.
Together with the practice team, we therefore developed a concept that reflects both specialties in a clearly separated yet interconnected structure. The solution: a WordPress multisite installation with a central homepage that directs users specifically to the respective medical field.
From a design perspective, we opted for a yin-yang approach — two primary colors, one visual language, two connected yet clearly distinct identities that complement each other harmoniously and visually emphasize the specialization. The result is clear orientation without disruption and a sense of trust from the very first visit.
